Tuesdays
in August It’s time to tend to the grounds around the front of the church and facing the street.
With Snohomish County hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony on August 18, it would be very nice to present a well-tended face
of Holy Cross to the public. A small group has been gathering on Tuesday mornings from 10:30 am - noon to keep up with
the gardening chores this summer. However, if you would like to help but can’t make it on Tuesday mornings, feel
free to come anytime your schedule allows before August 17 to complete this task.

Save More, Stress Less, Help Your Community! It pays to choose a smarter trip on 20th Street with Curb the Congestion. Ride the bus, carpool, vanpool, bike
or walk instead of driving alone on 20th Street, 164th Street or 128th Street. Choose a smarter trip at least 12 days
a month and log them into an online calendar, and you’ll be eligible for a monthly $250 incentive prize drawing.
If you do this three months in a row, you’ll be eligible for a quarterly $1,000 prize drawing. This program
works for running weekend errands as well as those commuting to jobs. Community Transit has assigned a Curb the Congestion
Specialist to help you find a carpool partner, bus route, or other option. Pick up one of the fliers on the table in
the narthex for more information and details of the program. Then visit www.communitytransit.org/CurbIt or call 425-438-6136
